Visionaire Rio Issue #62

Visionary Celia Dean of V Magazine and innovative media Visionaire and art director Dominic Sidhu asked me to contribute to the the Rio Issue #62. Known for setting world records (World’s largest magazine #61) and combining the most creative photographers and artists in the world for one of kind, limited edition issues, it was an honor to be asked to contribute. The brief: to provide a “3D photo of a wave in an existential way with a Brazilian surfer”. Sound simple or not? The next 3 months is a long story of nature, technology, broken bones, small quarrels and much more. On the eve of the day of the FINAL deadline, we submitted the photo just barely delivering but swell, camera technology and surfer all miraculously aligned. For a mere $375 you can view the stereoscope with contributors Karl Lagerfeld, Richard Philips, Solve Sundsbo, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot with images of Giselle, Adriano Lima and well, surfing.
